Being a care worker is a very rewarding job that makes such a huge difference to someone's daily life. You will be helping adults to remain living in their own homes and helping them with getting washed and dressed ready for the day or freshen up at night readyfor bed. You will be helping them with preparing meals and drinks and helping them taking their medication. These may be simple small tasks for you to do but they are such a big help to the people we look after and want to remain int heir own homes. You willbe based in the community and visiting our clients from home to home.
You do not need to have experience in this role as you will be fully trained. You will be paid for training once you have completed your Induction period.
Different shifts are offered that can suit your home life. The shift patterns we have are from 7am until 2pm or 9am until 3pm. 4pm until 10pm or 6pm until 10pm. If there are other times that would suit you we can discuss this with you to ensure your workinghours fit around your home life. We pay 2 different pay grades (social hours) and (unsocial hours) the minimum is £10.07 and the highest is £13.60 you will also be paid your petrol mileage.
The areas we cover are Dartford and Gravesend, you will be in a geographical areas to where you live and we offer a permanent client base so you know where you are going daily which also benefits the people you are caring for knowing they are seeing the sameperson daily.
As a member of staff you are supplied with uniforms and all your own personal protective equipment for free. Due to the care position you can become members of Blue Light Card Scheme where you can receive excellent discounts up to 30% off with many well-knownretailers including Levi, JD sports, Boohoo and many more.
The position is very rewarding as you will be helping an adult person to be able to continue to live in their own home with your support. If you want to make a difference to people's lives then this is the perfect job for you.
