QHSE Lead

Scotland/Northern Ireland - Full time

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic QHSE expert to provide support and guidance across the Account to multiple sites across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Experience in construction, facilities management and Defence is desirable but not essential.

You will be primarily responsible for assisting management to ensure that Mitie operations are carried out in a safe compliant and efficient manner.

The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to effectively implement the integrated management system, influence stakeholder, take the lead on contractual compliance, investigations, training, audit and assurance requirements, ultimately to identify, minimise and manage the risk of accidents to persons, property or the environment.

You will be involved in and drive the programme of collaborative audits in close cooperation with the client coherence team and external SME's.

You will understand ISO and relevant British Standards, and have experience of successfully motivating and leading a team in a QHSE capacity, and experience in Project Management.

Due to the mobile nature of this position, you will be provided with a company car and will be required to hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
