We have a 12 months fixed term vacancy to provide direction and leadership to the Packing & Despatch and Goods In/Warehouse teams in terms of Customer Service, HS&E, Production, Quality, Food Safety and staff leadership. A two week shift pattern, WK 1: 06:00 until 14:00, WK 2: 14:00 until 22:00, 37.5 hours a week. Competitive Salary and Shift Allowance. Bank holiday working, 33 days pro rata holidays Jan to Dec. Shut down from 24th December.

Experience within a manufacturing/warehouse organisation in a Chemical environment

Ensure that the team members are working to deliver the right products to the right customers on time in full

Monitor the departments packing requirements on a weekly basis to ensure a consistent output requirement is maintained and to ensure staffing levels are kept at appropriate levels

Lead the department to continuously improve the performance

Understand and ensure compliance to the Company environmental and waste policy, minimising the environmental impact of chemical manufacture and associated activities

Ensure that quality food safety standards as defined by the Company standard are adhered to

Complete paperwork and supply samples for, stock rechecks, stock transfers, traded products, blends and customer returns

Ensure sufficient stock of all packing materials are available at all times

Ensure that all Oracle transactions for Packing and Despatch are carried out correctly and ensure stock accuracy is 100%

Ensure all staff are competent on Oracle transactions to provide training as required

**Job Requirements**:
Supervisory Management experience

Dangerous Goods by Air Certification.

Essential experience of chemical handling in a warehouse environment

Experience in MS Excel and Oracle would be advantageous

Evidence of strong communication skills, including report writing

Able to lead teams proactively and ensure employees are motivated and trained to achieve site targets.
