Foulger Transprtt are recruiting for a Yard Marshal to join their team at their site in Snetterton. The role of the Yard Marshal will be to supervise the incoming and outgoing of vehicles within the yard to ensure all Health and Safety standards are adhered to.

**About the job**:

- Shunt trailers from the transport site to the warehousing sites as instructed by the Transport Department.
- Organise the vehicle / trailer parking, including visiting vehicles and overnight parking to minimize loading and unloading times.
- Liaise with the Workshop Department to ensure all vehicles and trailers are available when required.
- Manage the arrival of site visitors and direct them to the correct office to deliver high levels of customer service.
- Manage the Health and Safety processes and procedures within the yard to ensure compliance.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and walk arounds as and when required, report any issues or defects to the Transport Department and complete minor repairs to maintain compliance.
- Control the issue of pallet trucks and report and damage to the Transport Department to maintain compliance.
- Assist loading vehicles as and when required to meet operational demands.

**Your knowledge and experience**:

- Driving License (Full EU Licence)
- CAT C+E (Class 1) Licence
- Previous experience of driving Class 1
- Working knowledge of the Highway Code, EU tachograph requirements, Working Time Regulations, Road Transport Regulations
- Knowledge of transport methods, costs and benefits, routes and geography
- Safety knowledge of goods loading and unloading processes
