Calling Underwriting assistant, underwriting operations or underwriting techncian

supporting non marine underwriters focussing on delegated business you will:
Assist in-house Underwriters with daily tasks which will include:

- Production and release of quote slips and binding documentation for authorised signatory approval
- Maintain renewal and premium tracking data.
- Reviewing of correspondence files for information assisting in the preparation of underwriting data for capacity providers
- Production and completion of risk summary sheets ensuring file is passed for processing and certificate production in a timely manner
- Liaise with clients, Insurers and other staff to resolve any arising queries in a prompt, friendly and professional manner at all times
- Carry out such projects and other duties and tasks as may from time to time be specified by department head
- Aiding with Processing Invoices / Credit & Debit Notes, FATCA Withholding Statements, Original Premiums, AP’s / RP’s, Dealing with queries from accounts or liaise with third parties.
- Following up with clients for outstanding premium for all classes of business.
- Creation of Slip Endorsements calculating Additional and Return Premiums
- Maintain Terms of Business agreements and producing BE where required.
- Ensuring all renewal information is received and directed towards in-house Underwriters for quoting.
- Liaise with clients for outstanding Underwriting items in line with policy Terms and conditions

This will give you great exposure and visibility together with the opportunity to get involved with cross class business. You should have around 2 years experience supporting underwriters in either a UA/Technician or ops position. Great prospects and ongoingtraining and development.
