**Finance Business Partner**

Location: Central London

Contract: Temporary (3 months initial)

Rate: £380-400 per day umbrella

Start Date: ASAP

*Hybrid Working - 50%*

Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Central London for a Finance Business Partner (HRA) on a temporary basis.

Main Responsibilities:

- To provide financial expertise in the HRA finance team in order to assist with decision making.
- Developing relationships with stakeholders, budget monitoring and financial planning
- Assisting with the closing of accounts process ensuring timescales are achieved and audit queries are dealt with promptly
- Financial reporting and forecasting to identify budget risks and potential savings
- CCAB Qualified Accountant with relevant CPD.
- Experience of HRA Finance within a Local Authority/Government
- An understanding of the current and future issues facing housing in local government and other partners, particularly HRA
- Experience of budget monitoring, closing of accounts and financial reporting
- Great communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
