Distribution Assistant

We are growing business based in Roydon, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Online Retail Team.

You will play a crucial role as part of a team within our business, ensuring our distribution operation runs smoothly and efficiently.

Wednesday & Friday, hours negotiable.

Day to day tasks including but not limited to
- Order fulfilment ensuring that all items are prepared, packed and shipped to the highest standard

Preparing and booking collections with couriers

Listing items for sale on various websites

Keep warehouse and surrounding grounds clean and tidy

Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to

Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system

Keep accurate stock records and carry out stock checks when required

Various administrative and office duties

Customer Service including tracking deliveries and assisting customers with damaged items

Manual handling may be required

Skills required
- Previous experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment

Excellent communication skills

Confident telephone manner

Willing and flexible to learn new procedures

Excellent attention to detail and be able to work accurately

Computer Literate

Punctual

GCSE in Maths & English preferred

Driving Licence and own Vehicle essential due to rural location.

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.50 per hour
