**Trainee Teachers required to work at our fun after school clubs for children in Years 3, 4 and 5**

Code Camp is Australia's leading childcare provider and we are growing fast in the UK We have partnered with over 200 UK primary schools since 2018 and taught over 120,000 kids to code globally since 2013. We are looking to make a hugely positive impact on STEM Education. Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff to assist at our after-school clubs

**The Roles**:

- Lead Instructor_
- Deliver our lesson plan to a class of < 20 students
- Responsible for keeping the class on track
- Provide direction to assistants
- Teaching Assistant_
- Provides one on one help to individual students during class
- Any student falling behind will need you to guide them in the right direction
- Keep an eye out for any misbehaviour or disruption

**Required Skills**:

- Studying Education at university or some experience working in a classroom environment
- Enjoy working with kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can do attitude
- Currently completing, or have completed your tertiary studies
- Mature outlook and common sense
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
- Fluent conversational English
- Confident with computers and tech
- The content that is taught is relatively basic, so an in depth knowledge of coding is not necessary. We will ask all successful applicants to take an hour or two to familiarise themselves with the content._

**Key information**

We are currently looking for Lead Instructors and Teaching Assistants to work at primary schools in Brighton on Monday-Friday from 3:30pm-4:30pm. You can choose how many clubs you would like to work during the week.

**Please note - we can only offer 1 hour a day, this is not a full time position.**
