Tractor Driver

**The Company**

Greens of Soham is part of Top Farms International which farms over 75,000 Ha across Central and Eastern Europe with a well-established track record of delivering solid business and revenue growth. In the UK we farm in excess of 2,000 Ha, primarily in East Anglia but with operations also in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Our primary focus is potatoes and beetroot and we are the largest grower of these crops in the UK. In addition, we grow onions alongside traditional cereal and sugar beet crops.

**The Role - Full Time Tractor Driver/Harvester Driver**

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical machine operating experience who wants to join a forward thinking highly motivated, Dynamic team in Norfolk.

We operate a wide range of modern machinery and make use of the latest technologies available in agriculture.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Destoning & relief planting of potatoes
- Irrigation based in West Norfolk
- Operating a self-propelled potato harvester supplying processing crops into our mobile wash system
- Workshop duties when required
- Supporting the beetroot team in Cambridgeshire if/when required
- Other duties as needed

**Desired Experience and Skills**

The role requires someone with tractor driving experience (essential) and ideally potato experience.

Applicants will need to be self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic.

A full driving licence is essential and we would be really keen to hear from anyone with forklift experience too.

**Package**

The role will be based in West Norfolk but will be required to work at locations throughout Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

Good rate of pay available plus benefits including employer matched salary sacrifice pension, life insurance and other benefits.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Norfolk: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tractor Driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Agriculture: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (preferred)
