Project Cost Controller

Due to expanding business needs and continued growth, Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for a Cost Controller, based at Kishorn Port. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing project costs. Duties will include:

- Planning, developing, controlling and forecasting project budgets
- Verifying supplier invoices
- Reviewing expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure all costs are accurately tracked
- Conducting cost analyses to identify if costs can be reduced or eliminated
- Collecting cost data from suppliers or subcontractors to track material costs

Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and have excellent organisational and communication skills. Assisting with quotations, invoicing and budget control will be a part of this post. Competency in Microsoft packages is essential for this post. Accommodation can be provided.
