Are you passionate about marketing? Are you self-motivated, organised and creative? If the answer is yes, then we would love you to join our Marketing and Communications team.

As Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will be based at the company’s headquarters in Ayr, and report to the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager.

Core tasks will include supporting the implementation of the marketing plan to support customer retention and organic passenger growth, as well as communication and relationship building across the seven depots which make up Stagecoach West Scotland.

Experience in communications and creating marketing materials is essential to this role.

Marketing experience or a relevant qualification is required, as is the ability to use your initiative to work quickly and accurately on a number of projects at any one time. Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is preferred but not essential.

A high level of IT literacy and excellent written English is critical to this role along with an eye for detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.

Key areas of responsibility:

- Provide assistance with delivery and attendance at events
- Assisting with day to day marketing operations
- Supporting internal and external campaign delivery
- Website communication using a content management system
- Content creation for social media both written and visual
- Communicating service disruptions and diversions externally
- Research
- Assisting with photo shoots and video editing when required
- Marketing administration and reporting
