**Aerospace - MRO Specialist**

**Monday - Friday**

Job Purpose: To manage unserviceable components through the repair cycle to support the companies Commercial Programs, from RO generation to delivery back and RO closure. You will also optimise customer asset availability by minimising total repair cycleturnaround time by pro-active RO management.

There is an emphasis on managing repair costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction from supplier and appropriate customer recharges. To provide visibility into repair cycle by maintaining accurate data, notably costs and key milestone dates. To expeditingand close management of critical assets to support asset availability to IOC and customers. To meet departmental TAT, cost and re-charge KPI’s. Key

**Responsibilities**:

- MRO Specialists are responsible for all process steps for RO’s under their management, which includes, but is not limited to:

- RO generation.

Escalating inbound / outbound mis-shipments + exceptions.

Working with supplier base to obtain quotes, status updates, milestones and query responses.

Quotation evaluation and cost approval up-to financial authorisation limit for the role. This includes cost management to hold suppliers to contractual terms, warranty enforcement, making commercial challenges and identifying customer re-charges. This doesnot include detailed technical reviews such as reviewing DER’s and proposed repair schemes, identifying unit design flaws, or in-depth technical reviews requiring reference to CMM’s or SBs to determine fault.

Customer communication and queries, including Submitting re-charges to customer and handling subsequent queries and approvals, processing requests for billing, and status reporting if required.

Ensuring all managed RO’s are appropriately actioned and updated in the relevant IT systems to allow them to be delivered in and close out of WIP.

Resolve open events preventing vendor invoices being paid.
