Childcare Apprenticeship

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual to complete a Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship with Heatherlands Hopscotch Pre-School, in Ferndown, Dorset.

Hopscotch Pre-school and Nursery offers pre-school education from 3 months and upwards with a team of highly qualified, friendly and approachable staff.
Hopscotch's purpose-made building allows them to provide the best environment for nurturing and growing their 'Hopscotchers'. They have 3 modern classrooms with separate outside play areas.

**Your duties and responsibilities will include;**
- Supporting children with personal care
- Supporting children with feeding
- Supporting with observations
- Adhering to policies and procedures
- Keeping children safe at all times
- Following all safeguarding guidelines
- Planning activities for the children
- Engaging in the activities with the children
- Once trained - Interacting with parents
- Participating in Forest School

**Hours;**

Hopscotch offer a day nursery provision in Ferndown (8am-6pm) on an all year round basis.

**Requirements;**
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
- Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent. If you do not have these grades, you must be willing to work towards them, as in the event you want to progress onto the level 3, these will be required.
