SEN Learning Support Assistant

To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Special Needs and will be supportive and caring with a "firm but fair" approach. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists or Child Psychologistskeen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support on a 1:1 basis with a child who has behavioural and attention difficulties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support for the students
- Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
- Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs.
- Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Support Plans, and/or Communication, Sensory and other programmes.
- Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under the guidance of the teacher
