Job Title: Support Worker

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist individuals with daily activities in a caring and respectful manner
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies promptly
- Offer support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Implement dementia care techniques for those requiring specialised support
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in nursing homes or other care settings
- Engage in childcare duties as needed, demonstrating patience and understanding

**Skills**:

- Experience in senior care or a similar caregiving role is essential
- Ability to drive to different locations as required for home visits or appointments
- Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to healthcare protocols
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to handle medical emergencies effectively
- Understanding of dementia care practices and techniques for supporting individuals with cognitive impairments
- Strong patient care skills with empathy and compassion towards those in need

Pay: £18,206.42-£58,790.27 per year
