**Job Description**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Festivals team which encompasses Asia Tech x Singapore, London Tech Week and Africa Tech Festival. Responsible for driving the success of the VIP function. This includes, key account management, generating relationships with VIP level audience and recruiting these individuals to our events and products. Sponsor/exhibitor management and delivery of contracted networking inventory. Development and oversight of strategy for the event. Defining the VIP proposition. Nurturing and coaching the other 2 members of the team in the nuances of the VIP role.

Areas of Responsibility & Accountability Strategy/Clients
- Defining the proposition and setting of targets and allocations for the year.
- Identification of the target VIP prospects and develop a plan of targeting, outreach and retention for each event.
- Test strategies to optimize effectiveness of outreach and to evaluate the proposition on a running basis, to feed this information back to production/marketing.
- Create a project timeline inclusive of acquisition targets and contracted deliverables - determine when deliverables need to be started to ensure delivery and adjust acquisition trackers accordingly.
- Coordinate and collaborate with production, sales, operations and audience marketing to drive registrations, information feedback, speaker acquisition, delivery of VIP proposition and quality of sponsor client experience (meetings, roundtables, briefings etc).
- Cross pollinate audiences from various events.
- Management of Tier 1 Key Accounts and the overall Key Account Management strategy, across events and products, making sure that these are kept to realistic timelines and targets.
- Own and engage with managed buy-side accounts (KAM), using these relationships to generate audience, information and revenue opportunities.
- Grow and improve engagement in the VIP C-Suite community and VIP data.
- Upskilling the VIP team.
- Collaborate with audience marketing on how best to approach different markets and audience segments.
- Focus on the core of the VIP role - Seniority of audience, account management, and client delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrable experience in forming and executing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and desire, and solicits action. Leveraging multiple techniques and channels in order to achieve objectives.
- Building and maintaining relationships and understanding customer needs.
- Managing senior stakeholders and large complex customers.
- Knowledge of the industry landscape/eco-system and understanding of what audience would be attracted to individual events and the ability to communicate the benefit of engagement.
- History of KPI delivery
- Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, presentation.
- Line management experience
- Large scale project delivery and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to motivate team members and provide support where needed.
- Knowledge and effective use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Proven industry/Market Pillar knowledge; Events, Digital Media and/or Marketing Services.
- Effective identification and targets of relevant market segments.
- Good inter-personal relationship building and management skills. Must be able to have client facing conversations both with the buyside delegate audience, and sponsors and exhibitors.
- Understanding of what is deliverable to strict timelines, and the ability to communicate and manage expectations with sales and their clients.
- Planning, developing and executing go-to-market strategic VIP marketing plans
- Engaging at a senior level, building long lasting relationships, solutions selling with highly developed negotiation skills.
- Data Analytical Skills - review data and information, draw conclusions and actionable takeaways.
- Good internal stakeholder management skills
