Catch 22 are working with an international arts services business who specialise in beautifully produced art publications, who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to carry out maintenance tasks across multiple sites in Soho.

**Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician**:

- Regular checking of PPM schedules and making necessary arrangements for upcoming works or projects
- Basic plumbing knowledge is an advantage, to understand and maintain plumbing and drainage systems, for example repairs to WC systems, leaking taps, water testing or unblocking drains
- Electrical knowledge would be advantageous
- Various carpentry tasks to assist with gallery exhibitions and shows, including decorating where required
- Carry out repairs to the fabric of a building
- Understand and maintain grounds and external fabrication of a building, such as drainage and guttering
- Routine checks on fire safety, first aid and general H&S checks across sites
- Understand and demonstrate the safe use of hand tools
- Record and report information accurately with clear communication and updates to Studio Managers
- Inspections of kit such as ladders, trolleys and lifting equipment
- Working out of hours when required
- Travelling between multiple sites to carry out various odd job tasks when needed
- Carry out routine checks on buildings and updating relevant team members with works needed or any significant findings
- Supervising external contractors for works needed onsite

**The Maintenance Technician should**:

- Ideally hold IOSH or similar H&S qualification
- Have a flexible enthusiastic attitude
- Commitment to quality and excellence
- Be trustworthy and reliable with an ability to perform under pressure
- A self-starter with an aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Clean driving licence

**Salary for the Maintenance Technician**:

- Salary of £35,000 per annum
