**Job Summary; **This exciting role of a** Fresh Expression - Pioneer Leader** is designed to serve a Salvation Army Fresh expression of Church at Strawberry Field. This will involve building Church, community engagement whilst building positive relationships and promoting the wider Salvation Army. Strawberry Field is a busy Visitor Centre & Training HUB for young people with learning difficulties and other barriers to employment. This role will aim to introduce people to The Salvation Army and its Christian faith through various means, including modelling personal** **Christian faith and exploring their faith in a range of different ways.

**Key Responsibilities; **We seek a highly motivated and experienced individual able to help unchurched people encounter Jesus in creative and relevant ways by building quality relationships. An expectation will be to undertake the leading and facilitating of **CHRISTIAN WORSHIP, DISCIPLESHIP, SOCIAL ACTION** and **MISSION** whilst modelling a consistent Christian lifestyle. This will require identifying and meeting community needs raising the profile of The Salvation Army within the community.
- An ability to think creatively and relevantly to engage the local community and those visiting Strawberry Field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience of helping people explore the Christian faith in creative and relevant ways.
- An ablity to network and form strong and positive personal relationships within the community.
- Knowledge and understanding of pioneering church development.
