Experienced spray painter wanted for a small business working on Olympic class rowing boats. Primarily spraying 2 pack gloss but should also be confident with base and clear systems. An excellent ability to blend is essential. Other duties will include prepping, repairing, flatting and polishing.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Assist with all aspects of prepping boats to a high standard.
- Be able to identify if a boat is correctly prepped and ready for paint.
- Consistently paint boats to a high commercial standard.
- Able to mix and match paint as required and blend to exceptional standard.
- Inspect and rectify paint runs / defects.

**About you**:

- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a vehicle painter
- Attention to detail
- Concentration & coordination
- Excellent time keeping
- Hardworking and reliable
- Works well in a team and independently.
- Own spray equipment

**Skills required**:

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for painting tasks
- Familiarity with surface preparation techniques, including sanding and priming
- Ability to mix and match paint colours accurately
- Mechanical knowledge to operate painting equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing

Immediate start available
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
