Due to increased demand in workload, NPHS are seeking to recruit a reliable accounts assistant for our Gateshead office on a permanent basis.

The position benefits from an annual salary, holiday entitlement, Company pension, on site parking, Mon-Fri (no weekends)

**Duties will include**:
Credit control - contacting customers.

Inputting of purchase invoices and subcontractors weekly invoices.

Sales ledger - invoicing customers.

Bank reconciliation.

Preparations of vat returns.

Provide administration support to the finance department.

**Essential requirements**:
1 year accounting experience or recent graduate.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.

Competent with Microsoft packages including excel & word.

Work to deadlines and deal with client enquiries.

Work well within a team.

Knowledge of Xero would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 25 per week
