Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Supervising Social worker to join Fostering Team in Calderdale Council.

Key duties of the role include:

- Supervise and support foster carers providing long-term care to children and young people, including connected carers.
- Focus on improving placement stability and outcomes for children and young people.
- Assess carers and determine support needs for those seeking legal permanence through special guardianship.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of fostering legislation is essential.
- Comprehensive induction program and regular person-focused supervision provided for well-being, training, and development.
- Manage your own diary and enjoy the flexibility of working from home, with access to an office base for meetings.
- Collaborate with other practitioners to support the children and young people of Calderdale.
