Role: Modern Foreign Language Teacher
Location: York (YO51)
Start Date: Easter 2023 (maternity cover)

**Salary**: MPS/ UPS (£28,000 - £43,685)
GSL Education are working with a school in the York area that require a full time Linguistics teacher to cover Modern Foreign languages. The role will include planning and delivering lessons in French and English and you will be comfortable with making thelessons challenging but fun. The school is in a rural area and difficult to get to via public transport, so your own transport is essential.

**Requirements**:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous teaching experience in the last 2 years (placements can be counted)
- Have the ability to use ICT for planning, delivery and assessing purposes.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Mark and assess work, providing in-depth detail for pupils to be able to progress.
- Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and outside agencies.
- Aspire to be an ‘Outstanding’ teacher in all aspects of the role.
- Be a team player that is willing to contribute to the overall success of the school(s) you work in.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment within the classroom.
