25 hours pw / Term Time Only (+4 weeks to be worked in the school holidays)

£10.50 ph, or a salary of £11,445pa, based on an fte of 0.559. The full time equivalent salary is £20,475pa.

Start Date: January 2023

As an integral and key member of the School caretaking team, this role will be responsible for managing access to the Prep school, conducting minor maintenance and grounds works, preparing the schools for events, ensuring the schools are kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition and maintaining security. This role requires flexibility in terms of providing cover during the school week and also the ability to flex shifts in order to provide holiday cover for the other Caretakers.

This role is based off of a 4 week rotational shift pattern. Please see our website or contact us for further details.

The timings for the work in school holidays will differ from this and will be agreed on a case by case/holiday by holiday basis. There will also be a requirement for Saturday work to support external hires. This will be done by the Caretaker on the Day shift that week, and a day off is given during the week to compensate so they will still work 5 x 5-hour shifts per week.
