LFUK are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their clients team in the Speke area.

The role will involve (but not limited to)
- To be accountable for the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse staff and department areas
- Ensure all parts of the quality procedures manual are followed throughout the storage and distribution of all goods
- To ensure that you are fully trained in the area’s and are familiar with all the relevant QAP’s procedures and stock control systems, and trained on the WMS system.
- Manage your manpower effectively whilst reducing the use of agency and overtime
- To develop a good working relationship within your area of responsibility and the departments you service and interface with
- Close liaison with operations Manager / Admin to ensure that any problems such as shortages and damaged stock are communicated
- Utilise storage and space and work within an agreed stock structure
- Coordinate transport requirements for customer orders and deliveries to utilise manning and time and avoid a backlog of trailers and deliveries
- Ensure all stocktaking and stock management/control systems are complied with at all times
- Cover for staff when required
- Responsible for the receiving of goods and the completion of the necessary documentation and inputting on WMS as per the operating procedures manual
- Responsible for deciding what action is to be taken when a non-conformity arises with a delivery and communicate to QC and procurement
- Quarantine stock when required
- Ensure that all products are check for batch and expiry and entered into Dexterity
- Ensure that cold chain monitoring procures are followed when receiving products
- Ensure customer returns and returns to supplier’s goods are managed weekly
- Ensure that all products are located and stored correctly within the warehouse
- Communicate with the QC team on any issues of quality concern
- Ensure all parts of the quality procedures manual are followed throughout the storage and distribution of all goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service and performance in the warehouse and across the business and ensure that key KPI targets are achieved and exceeded
- Emphasis on health and safety practices and standards
- Ensure accurate inputting of data onto the scanner & WHM system
- Ensure all stocktaking and stock management/control systems are complied with at all times
- Provide support for ops in other warehouse areas when required
- To ensure the smooth and efficient picking & packing of the warehouse department and its areas.
- To ensure that you are fully trained in all areas and are familiar with all the relevant QAP’s procedures and stock control systems.
- Ensure that all picked & packed products are checked for accuracy and traceability.
- To ensure any safety checks that are required within the site are carried out at the start of each shift
- Perform cycle counts, stock takes and audits to verify results and ensure that all resources are used effectively and efficiently
- Receipt and efficient storage of products and damaged goods etc.
- Ensure efficient operation of the WMS / Parcel systems
- Ensure fast order turnaround in the warehouse with fixed deadlines
- Conducting cross training sessions when required to ensure high standards
- To resolve queries in a professional and efficient manner
- To demonstrate best practice in effective time management
- Create, prepare and assist with stock takes.
- Utilize storage and space and work within an agreed stock structure
- Following up on any stock discrepancies.
- Ensure constant stock rotation.
- To efficiently plan the pick and dispatch of all finished goods
- Ensure that the company handbook and HR Policies (including absence and the grievance procedure) are adhered to
- Filing of documentation relating to traceability and FMD systems
- Ensure that all GMP’S standards are met

**This is a full time permanent role.**

Working hours are to be confirmed but are currently 08:00 - 17:00.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
