As Kitchen Porter, you work alongside chefs helping them to deliver efficiency in our kitchens. You will work with the team and assist with daily deliveries, wash equipment and tableware, prepare the kitchen for the next service and assist with kitchen waste. Although previous experience is desired it is not essential as full training can be given on the job.

**Main duties**
- Washing of dishes, cutlery, crockery, pots etc., both manually and by using machinery.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are operated in a safe and professional manner at all times, promptly reporting maintenance required.
- Support to the chefs by clearing work areas and cleaning all required items as requested
- Ensure that the bin room and outside/delivery area are clean, clear and organised
- Carry out tasks as directed by Senior Chefs
- To proactively communicate to colleagues and line managers incorporating new ideas for continuous improvement

In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £7.00-£11.00 per hour
