**Business Analyst**

We are working with a rapidly growing, innovative, and dynamic data solutions company who are dedicated to helping their clients solve complex business challenges.

They are going through a hypergrowth period as they continue to expand their footprint within the data landscape across a variety of industries, and they are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join the team and help them continue to provide anexceptional service to their clients by addressing their core business problems.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will work with clients to understand, document, and map their current business processes through a range of methods including interviewing individuals or teams, and conducting workshops
- Responsible for understanding and documenting what the client wants their operational processes to be, and gaining approval to begin building and implementing the required changes
- Ensure that Business Requirements are fully developed and documented including all functional, non-functional and reporting requirements
- Engage with the internal team to completely analyse the business requirements and fully understand the transition in processes and data sources required
- Act as the central control point for business analysis activities including working with client and third-party supplier, business analysts, and technical teams
- Provide assistance and support for the definition of the operational processes and procedures
- Participate in daily huddles to ensure the whole team are kept updated on your work, and able to communicate priorities, issues and where required escalate for Senior BA support

**Person Specification**
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within a financial institution, telecommunications, or utilities company
- Working experience of project and analysis techniques and supporting tools for requirement definition and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, interviewing and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Must be able to demonstrate a detailed understand of the business/process using interviews, document reviews, workshops, business requirements methodologies, business process mapping (As Is and To Be), and MI analysis
- Able to demonstrate the ability to influence the business to show how the proposed solutions will deliver benefits and solve the problem identified
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work nationwide to support client’s requirements, including overnight stays (this may be 2-3 nights per week)

**Hours of Work and Pay**
- £50,000 to £60,000
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid and flexible working pattern
