Steel Fixers

CB staffing Group are currently working with a market leading, well established construction company.

Our client is urgently requiring Steel Fixers to work in Deeside.

You will work closely with engineering designers, steel erectors and other construction workers on high rise buildings, on a variety of construction sites or on other structures.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for examining the project's engineering plans and setting out your work area.
- Using both hand tools and power tools, you bend and cut steel rebar to create larger sections.
- You'll also insert supports and spacers to help your reinforcement sections keep their proper shape.
- Cutting, bending, and joining steel is at the heart of your work as a steel fixer.
- Your precision and attention to detail are vital to creating safe, effective reinforcements quickly.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £200.00-£220.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Steel Fixing: 2 years (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Deeside, Flintshire: Relocate before starting work (required)
