Powder Coating Supervisor

A client of ours in the Harlow area is recruiting a Powder Coating Supervisor to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 08.00am - 17.00pm with a 15.30 finish on Friday and paying £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.

**Key Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Paint shop team, ensuring the targets are met
- Prepare manufactured components for powder coating
- Pre-treatment
- Powder coating and baking off for aluminium and stainless-steel parts
- Rumbling of parts, identifying correct rumbling media, and testing different media types on our components
- Document and record PH and chemical levels to ensure a quality-assured process
- Coordinate and lead quality inspection activities on 100% of painted parts as they come off the line
- Manage quality inspection on 100% of metal castings prior to paint

**Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Powder Coating Supervisor position**:

- Be able to make judgements about acceptable quality levels of powder coating of components.
- Managing/supervising people in a manufacturing and production environment
- Demonstrable experience on an automated paint line recording and documenting paint quality
