**Job overview**:
**NES Community Reception Services are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and committed individual to join their reception team to provide a wide range of administrative and clerical duties.**

The hours are 30 hours per week:
Monday - Friday 08:30-1700 (working 4 days per week)

This post is for a Peripatetic Receptionist to cover a reception desk meeting & greeting patients to the centre and being the main point of call for any building issues.

**Base/Department: Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale & Oldham (mainly covering 4 clinic sites Callaghan House, Langley, Durnford Street & Milnrow). There may be some occasions when required to help out at Oldham sites.**

**Main duties of the job**:
You will provide an accurate, confidential, comprehensive and efficient clerical service to support tenants, ensuring priorities, deadlines and queries are always dealt with correctly and efficiently.

You will work on reception for the building to support all tenants including arriving patients & booking appointments, logging faults, monitoring the car park, making room bookings.

- GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths Grade C or above

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to recognise & manage challenging situations
- Ability to work as a part of a team and capable of working unsupervised
- Able to plan and organise own work and work under own initiative
- Owner of / Access to a vehicle / Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to move between sites at short notice
- Willing to work flexibly as required

**Knowledge, Training & Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Customer care, dealing with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of general office & administration procedures
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft packages
- Evidence of working in a customer focused environment
- Good written and verbal skills
- Adaptable and quick learner
- Good organisational skills

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous reception experience
- Previous NHS/healthcare experience
- Operate a switchboard/handle patient calls
- General knowledge of a room booking system
- Work on NHS clinical systems
