**Job description**: We are recruiting for a Credit Controller for a well-established and reputable organisation based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is wishing to developtheir skills by joining an expert team.

**You will be expected to**:

- Manage credit problems of both short-term and long-term nature
- Control bad debts, ensuring that the company does not take undue financial risks or non-commercial decisions
- Regularly review accounts on refer, credit limits and allocate cash
- Have regular telephone discussions with customers
- Document agreed actions thoroughly and ensure records are updated accordingly
- Have previous credit control experience
- Have an excellent telephone manner/communication skills
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment whilst producing thorough work
- Be ready to start a new role at short notice
