Mobile Mechanic

We wish to recruit a Mobile tail lift Service Engineers in all areas. Working from home, you will be provided with a fully equipped workshop van and will operate in your locality and the surrounding areas.

The main responsibilities will be to work on the installation, repair and planned maintenance of tail lifts, shutter doors and door curtains on commercial and passenger vehicles.

Applicants should have a good understanding of electro-hydraulic systems and basic engineering principles and be able to demonstrate fault finding skills and be willing to work as part of an existing team.

Knowledge and Skills:
Mobile Service Engineer with experience of repairing and servicing tail lifts on commercial vehicles. Alternatively experience of being a Fork Lift Service Engineer or a background in Plant Maintenance would also be advantageous, coupled with some experience of auto electrics and hydraulics.

Your experience should ideally be supplemented by having obtained a Manufacture Tail Lift Service and Weight Test Training Certificate 1 & 2, or equivalent to meet Service Regulations. Experience of having worked on tail lifts would be an ideal background, but not essential.

A current driving licence is essential.

A willingness to work flexible hours is essential and your availability for weekend and over time work will be discussed at time of interview.

Starting basic salary will be from £30000 pa, to £32500 with the potential to earn £55,000 - £65000 per annum which includes overtime, shift allowance and call out payments.
