We are looking for a dynamic individual with good organisation skills with an ability to problem solve, time manage and communicate well with Multi disciplinary teams to help us build a healthier nation as an Operating Theatre Coordinator at our Leeds Hospital.
As an Operating theatre coordinator, you will be responsible for the following.
- Daily staff allocation
- Consultant engagement
- Daily management of Operating lists
- Liasing with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the Theatre lists
- Stock ordering
- staff rotation and break relief
- equipment reporting
- implementation of policies and process
The Responsibilities:
- Always provide a high standard of patient care.
- Prepare essential equipment.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Stock management
- Compliance with all relevant policies

Our successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery supported by a Level 3 critical care unit covering a vast range of specialities such as: brain surgery, cardiac surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics and spinal surgery. In addition we offer a comprehensive diagnostic service including cardiology tests and interventions, diagnostic imaging - MR, CT, Mammography, Plain film and Ultrasound, fully equipped Physiotherapy department with gymnasium facilities.

Overtime
For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
