**Band 5 Physiotherapist**

**Based at a College in Lancaster, offering both day and residential programmes to y**oung people aged 18 - 25 with a broad range of physical and/or learning impairments.**
- Available for an immediate start
- Part-time, 22 hours a week (this is flexible),**term-time only**

**Summary**

We are a residential and day college for young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities ranging from Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Genetic conditions and others.

We are a supportive multi-disciplinary team consisting of OTs, SLTS, Physios, Nursing team.

**Main duties include**:

- Postural assessments
- Mobility/gait assessments
- Orthotic provision
- Hydrotherapy
- Respiratory advice and pain management.
- Session support
- providing integrated therapy provision into academic sessions
- use of specialist equipment for supporting posture, and engagement in education. E.g standing frames/Acheeva bed/postural mattress.
