- We are currently recruiting a Governance Consultant to join our growing team.In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the Senior Operational Resilience & Governance Manager (LGRI) with ensuring compliance with regulations and expected standards and policies which relate to LGRI.

This includes IT, Business and Regulatory Change led by the Business, Technology and Transformation Teams and you'll be responsible for embedding appropriate and proportionate systems and controls to effectively manage the resilience of LGRI’s important business services. Some aspect of the role may extend to wider divisional responsibilities of the Chief Operating Office.

What you'll be doing
- Responsible for the management, oversight, and reporting of regulatory change across LGRI by representing LGRI on key change initiatives, attending oversight and governance meetings on behalf of the Security, Risk and Standards Team, and helping to ensure reporting correctly reflects 1st line compliance with regulatory outcomes
- Responsible for the management and oversight of LGRI Business Services to ensure compliance with the Group Operational Resilience Framework, including Business Continuity Management, IT, Cyber and Third-Party Supplier Resilience, Change Management, and Incident Management.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support LGRI’s compliance with data management and regulatory change managed by the BT&T Change Portfolio to ensure change is compliant, operational impacts are assessed and risk are appropriately escalated.
- Assist and deputise, when required, for the Senior Operational Resilience & Governance Manager in all matters relating to their responsibilities. This includes having responsibility for producing committee papers, project updates and reporting for Group and Divisional committees to ensure the COO and senior stakeholder are able to make informed decisions and risks and issues are appropriately escalated.
- Responsible for ensuring the appropriate level of Senior Management Controls Regime reporting is in place to demonstrate the LGRI COO has adequate systems and controls in place to meet any significant function and/or delegated authorities assigned to them, and to ensure risks and issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Act as the primary contact point for 2nd Line Support Functions in LGRI in respect of Operational Resilience, Regulatory Change and Group Policies such as GDPR and Financial to assist with implementing compliant, proportionate, and consistent changes across LGRI to ensure LGRI meeting Group Internal Policies and Regulatory expectations.
- Ensure that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day-to-day operations to always deliver good customer outcomes. Ensure that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes (TCF) and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk

What we're looking for
- Operational Risk Management Frameworks, evaluation and reporting of key risk metrics
- Regulatory frameworks impacting PRT such as FCA, PRA, GDPR and HMRC
- Appreciation and awareness of PRT Technology and operational functions
- Previous risk governance reporting and senior stakeholder management experience
- Experience implementing regulatory change management and acting as a regulatory SME
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to work independently focusing on priorities, and managing a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
- Collaborative worker who freely shares their knowledge and experience with good influencing skills, ability to develop and mentor individuals
- Effective at making good decisions and delivering great outcomes in in line with IT&T strategy
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various internal and external businesses and support functions
