**Bar Operations & Events Supervisor**
- **Employment Type**:_ Fixed-term Contract - Full-time from the beginning of May 2024 to the end of September 2024 and will be required to work weekends. _(For the right applicant there may be the opportunity of full time employment on an annual basis)_
- **Location**:_ Leeds, West Yorkshire - With frequent travel across the UK in line with the event calendar (vehicles and accommodation will be provided)

We offer a range of services from mobile trailer bars to build-up marquee set-ups, working alongside some of the world’s biggest beverage brands. Our calendar comprises a range of events including music festivals, agricultural shows, sporting competitions and food festivals, with our operations servicing events including the Great Yorkshire Show, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and the British Touring Car Championships. - **Role Overview**:_ We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Bar Operations & Events Supervisor, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of both operational functions and event management. You will work closely with both our Operations Director and our Events Director, overseeing day-to-day bar operations, managing event logistics and set-up, as well as supervising our dedicated team of bar and event staff.
- **Key Duties & Responsibilities**:_
- Coordinate and execute bar operations, ensuring efficient setup, service, and breakdown of mobile bars at events.
- Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of our fleet of mobile bars and vehicles, including driving to and from event locations and ensuring vehicles are properly stocked and equipped.
- Work alongside the Operations Director to support warehouse management, procurement, and logistics for beverage supplies.
- Support the Events Director to plan and execute events, including scheduling staff, coordinating vendor logistics, and managing client relationships.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements, statutory regulations and company policies.
- Work on the operation of bars at events, ensuring a high standard of service and delivery is met at all times.
- **Qualifications Skills & Requirements**:_

**ESSENTIAL**:

- Full, clean UK driving licence (at least category B)
- Educated to GCSE level and above (at least grade C/4 in Mathematics)
- Previous bar/hospitality experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in intensive environments
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to travel and work longer hours as per business demands (will be required to work weekends)
- Self-motivated
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting of stock and equipment

**DESIRABLE**:

- Personal Licence Holder (authorise the sale/supply of alcohol)
- Towing experience (Category C Licence holder if you passed your driving test after 01/01/1997)
- Cellar management experience
- Experience working at management/supervisor level
