Slinger Signaller

Clear Line Maintenance is looking for a **Slinger/Signaller **to join our Nottingham team on an immediate basis.
- **Who is Clear Line Maintenance? **_

We are a leading Principal Contractor, specialising in the design, supply, installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of curtain walling & cladding. We have various site throughout the UK.
- **Responsibilities within the role**:_
- Be responsible for attaching and detaching the load.
- Work to CPCS guidelines at all times.
- Establish weights and the effect of the centre of gravity, balance loads and judge distances and clearances.
- Initiate safe movement of the crane and load using the designated signalling method.
- Liaise with the site supervisor & lift supervisor upon arrival on site.
- Be aware of the effects of wind and other climatic effects on the crane and load.
- Be able to take the action to avoid dangerous situations, including stopping operations.
- 3 years’ experience within the profession required
- Health and Safety knowledge
- Must have a valid CPCS blue card.
- You should already be self-employed, have UTR & CIS registered

**Location**:North Church Street, NG1 4AF, Nottingham

**Job Type**: Full time, (Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm), weekly pay

**Salary**:£18-£20 DOE

**Length**: 14 months

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 46.5 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- SLINGER SIGNALLER: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CPCS BLUE CARD (required)

Ability to Commute:
