Racial Harassment Advisor

The Student Wellbeing service offering includes: a 24/7 Open Door drop-in service, wellbeing workshops, events, a team of wellbeing practitioners, self-help resources and short-term counselling.
Main duties include:
- To provide specialist support and guidance to students who have experienced racial harassment.
- To lead on prevention activities including the roll out of suitable training and awareness raising campaigns targeted at our student body.
- To represent the University at external events, linking with the community and other service providers.
- Contribute to University wide projects with specialist knowledge.
- Actively promote the work of the Wellbeing Team both within the University and the wider local community, including offering support and training to staff across the University.
A standard DBS may be required for this role.
