Clubhouse Manager

Sevenoaks Vine Club runs a thriving Clubhouse facility in the heart of the Town, for Sevenoaks Hockey and Sevenoaks Vine Cricket Club, two of the Town's high profile and successful sports clubs. The membership is increasing and the facilities are being improvedas we look to a bright future. We need an experienced and enthusiastic Clubhouse Manager to foster our friendly Clubhouse atmosphere and manage the improvements that we want to make. The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to run the Sevenoaks Vine clubhouse. The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the Vine. Duties include:

- Running the bar including its stock, cleaning and the staffing of it.
- Financial reporting to the Sevenoaks Vine Club committee.
- Be accountable for full compliance of H&S, Licensing and Loss Prevention for the bar and clubhouse area
- Ensuring that the clubhouse (and bar and catering facility) is available for the Hockey and Cricket regular weekly events
- Ensuring that the clubhouse (and bar and catering facility) is available for the Hockey and Cricket ad hoc requests for events e.g. mid-week opening
- Manage the cleaning of the clubhouse as appropriate.
- The management and timetabling of external hires
- Identify new income generation opportunities for the committee to consider
- Identifying and managing repairs of the clubhouse
- Manage external caterers for events
- Liaising with Sevenoaks Town Council and other professional inspectors (e.g. fire, H&S) as required

**Skills/Knowledge Required**
- Hold a current personal licence or be willing to attain one.
- Cultivating a positive club and community culture
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Demonstrated experience to plan and prioritise workload for the role and the team
- Ability to manage P & L
- Ability to manage resources in line with targets
- Ability to understand and analyse financial reports
- Demonstrated experience at building local community relationships
- Delegating effectively
- Communication skills - verbal and written
- Planning, Problem Solving and Decision-Making.
