We’re looking for an **Assembly Operative** to join a flourishing manufacturer at their site based in **Droylsden**.

In this role, you will be performing assembly tasks, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

**What’s on offer?**
- £12.32 - £12.82 per hour
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
- 23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)

**What will you be doing as an Assembly Operative?**
- Utilising manual dexterity for tasks such as soldering, crimping, and using general hand assembly tools
- Interpreting engineering drawings, method sheets, or samples for assembly purposes
- Identifying components accurately during the assembly process
- Operating computerised assembly, test, and stock control systems along with peripheral equipment
- Assembling optical units, wiring looms, cables, electro-mechanical assemblies, and finished products according to company documentation and QA standards
- Conducting testing or calibration of assemblies using various methods including PC-based, mechanical, and manual equipment
- Performing packing operations, including bagging, labelling, and assembling kits into bespoke carry cases across all production areas
- Adhering to company standards and procedures consistently, including health and safety procedures and legislation
- Undertaking any additional duties within the job holder's capabilities as deemed appropriate

**What do you need?**
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English
- Previous assembling/testing experience
- An understanding of computer based processes
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.32-£12.82 per hour
