**Examinations Assistant**

**Part time: 22.2 hours per x 52 weeks per year**

**NJC pay scales level 5 £24,702 per annum, pro rata**

The Examinations Assistant will contribute to the effective delivery of a high-quality examinations service, including assisting with the registration, collation and management of all examinations, assessments and certification.

The post requires working closely with academic and support staff to ensure that an accurate and responsive service is provided. Through a proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused approach you will help the College achieve our mission to provide skills for the future of our learner and community, through outstanding teaching and learning.

**About Us**

Southend Adult Community College is a vibrant and successful College, with 3 sites. Our main site is based in the Southchurch area, close to Southend East train station on the C2C line. The College has 2500 Learners annually supported by 165 established staff. The college has an annual turnover of £4.5m. and is looking to grow its income.

The provision includes community learning, SEN and high needs provision, adult skills, vocational pathways, apprenticeships and study programmes for young people.

Pre-employment checks and training will include safeguarding training and a sound understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education.
