Sitting within Downstream Strategy, to be independent; the purpose of the team is to ensure each business is able to identify its true value and aid integrated working. The Energy Market Pricing Analyst will focus on the EU region as part of the Global EnergyMarket Pricing team responsible for analysing the full Downstream value chain; providing independent market perspectives across the Downstream businesses, acting as a trusted partner in driving end to end commercial value.
The Role:

- Deliver fact-based market price assessments for value chains between the Downstream business.
- Clear and simple communication of those market price assessments;
- Forge close working relationships with key commercial and pricing stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Country-specific market & competitor insights contributing to bottom line improvements.
- Generation of forward price scenarios for refinery E&S teams which drive refinery optimization decisions.
Key Skills:

- When it comes to delivering e2e value through collaborative stakeholder relations, it's your excellent people skills that will make the difference.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Over 6 years knowledge of oil and gas market, supply, demand etc.
- Be able to generate unbiased commercial market insights to provide business with a clear understanding of the market and their contribution to the E2E value at all times.
- Have had exposure to generating price assessments.
- Have demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Have a well-developed Learner's Mindset to promote continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholders' management and influencing skills.
- This role represents a unique development opportunity through exposure to multiple downstream markets' dynamics.
