Horticultural Operative

We are currently looking for full time permanent staff for our well established client in Tenbury within their field production department. Experience is not essential, as full training will be given.

**What you will be doing**:

- Various roles within the tree nursery: budding, planting, grafting, and lifting of bare root trees
- Attaching canes, ties, and other materials as part of theproduction process
- Working as part of the production team, growing a wide range of trees from propagation to retail sale
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn new skills, and determined to meet deadlines
- Ability to work outside in all weathers
- Enjoy working as part of a team that takes pride in their work
- Physically fit for lifting and manual work
- Excellent attention to detail when working with young delicate plants
- Reliable, flexible, punctual, and with a good work ethic

**Hours of work**:‍
- 39 hrs/week: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5 pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:45 pm
- Compulsory overtime during busiest times (Friday until 4pm, Saturday 7:30 am - 11 am, rarely compulsory)
- Pay: £10.42 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
