Garden Pride Marketing is a family run business, established in 1990. We manufacture and import garden products which retail in garden centres across the UK and online.

We are looking for an experienced Fulfillment and Warehouse Supervisor to join our core team and take charge of the day to day running of our packing and warehouse areas. This is a hands on role reporting to the Operations Manager.

**Objectives of this Role**:

- To take ownership of the day to day running of our packing room, ensuring all orders are dispatched meeting their customer commitments and expectations.
- To take ownership of the day to day running of our warehouse, ensuring all locations and stock levels remain accurate.
- Tackle and resolve problems associated with these tasks, preventing repeat incidences.

**Day to day responsibilities**:

- Leading the pickers/packers and warehouse staff, ensuring they remain organised and motivated.
- Managing inbound deliveries, ranging from pallets to shipping containers.
- Organising the dispatch of goods, both trade orders being dispatched on pallets or in our own vehicles and retail orders being dispatched by couriers.
- Monitoring stock and ordering packaging supplies.
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse.
- Ensuring that procedures are followed correctly.
- Have a previous experience packing and dispatching orders for an online retailer.
- Have previous use of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Confident leading a team and comfortable implementing disciplinary actions if necessary.
- Willing to take a hands-on approach.

**Working Hours**:

- Core Hours Mon-Fri (07:30 Starts) with some Sunday work.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Warehouse / Picking Packing: 1 year (required)
- Supervisory: 1 year (required)
