Salary - £40K

I am working exclusively with a Creative Change & Design Agency based in Jersey (St Helier) who are looking to hire an experienced Senior Designer on a permanent basis. They are headquartered in St Helier Jersey.This is an onsite role with possible flexibleworking options.

There could be fully expensed travel to Bristol in this role.

Senior Designer Specification:

- You will have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- You will have experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- You will ideally have skills in motion graphics (i.e Adobe After Effects) although this is not mandatory
- You will cultivate a solid body of work across a wide variety of print and digital.
- You will take the design "brief" to record requirements and clients’ needs from both internal and external meetings and relay this information back to team members.
- Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints.
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software and be willing to overcome design difficulties by learning how to use new software or take on new creative processes.
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
- Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas.
- Amend final designs to clients’ comments to gain full approval.
- Work as part of a team with account managers, copywriters, designers etc.
- Completes projects by co-ordinating with external suppliers when needed e.g., printers.
- Deliver work to a consistently high creative standard to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending workshops; completing on and offline training courses; reviewing technical publications and participating in professional societies.
- Host internal planning meetings if needed for creative execution of a campaign.
- Keep Creative Directors and Business Directors informed about deadlines and expectations.
- Plan and manage your own time using our internal systems.
- Understand the need to achieve billable targets as outlined by Directors.
- Maintain and develop contacts, follow up on networking opportunities.
- Recognise new business opportunities and work with Directors to action.
