**Position**:One-to-One Support Assistant**.**

**Location**:Primary School in Kilburn, Brent.

As a One-to-One Support Assistant, you will be working closely with a Year 1 student diagnosed with ASD. The student presents with defiant behaviours and has experienced trauma, requiring an individual who can balance firmness with compassion. Your role will involve providing individualized support to help the student thrive academically and emotionally.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working with children with ASD, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of behavioural interventions and strategies.
- Ability to provide firm and consistent boundaries while demonstrating empathy and care.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Sensitivity to the needs of children who have experienced trauma.

- **Availability**: Your availability to work five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM, is essential to meet the needs of our students consistently.
