Roving Steward

Thank you for your interest in the post of Roving Steward with Historic Environment Scotland. This post sits within the Central East district comprising thirty-five monuments, of which eight are staffed including Aberdour Castle, Dunfermline Abbey, St Andrews Castle and Cathedral. You will be part of a team of stewards working across the monuments, led by Roving Managers in the Central East & Mid Districts.

This is a post which is to cover absences within the teams in the Perthshire/Fife. We are recruiting for a Roving Steward to join the Central East Roving Manager (based in Perthshire) & the Roving Team from Central Mid. We are looking to principally cover sites in the Fife Area and the sites based in Perthshire, with opportunities to work in the Angus area.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of visitor experience across sites in the Central East and Mid Districts. Reasonable agreed travelling is expected to cover sites within Fife, Perthshire & occasionally Angus.
