Are you someone with experience of working with EPoS equipment? Do you have solid IT skills? And a great knack for organising and coordinating work?
Then you’d be a great fit for this **IT Refit Coordinator** position with us. We are looking for an experienced **EPoS technician** / **Engineer **to support our installation teams with the installation of new equipment into retail environments.
This is a **temporary** position that will run for a minimum of 6 months.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Analysis of store requirements for new and refit situations.
- Prioritising your workload according to the severity of issues and their impact on the business.
- Provision of any IT systems for stores, build of new/reallocated equipment
- Provide onsite support to Barron McCann installation team on the installation of the new equipment
- Co-ordinate the collection of the provisioned systems/lines for the stores with 3rd party services in line with core dates
- Manage and maintain the rollout schedule in line with the provisioning service.
- Involvement in the creation and maintenance of LANDesk Processes
- 2nd Line support and training for IT Store SAS team.
- Provide an accurate inventory of the kit to be installed for the creation of ongoing maintenance services to the IT Helpdesk Supervisor.
- Provide decommissioning services to stores for closures
- Facilitate the data transfer of customer records within Acuitas for closures, transfers and acquisitions.
- Ordering of stock aligned to store requirements for refits
- Onsite system configuration for IP changes linked to store number changes.
**Shifts**:
Monday-Friday 9-5, but with overtime available at evenings and weekends.
**As an IT Refit Coordinator, you will also**:
- Liaise with 3rd parties in relation to the implementation/support/maintenance of relevant Hardware/Software.
- Assist in the investigation of the consolidation and streamlining of existing systems.
- Need to be aware that this is a physically demanding role which includes lifting, transporting and on occasion installation of stores' hardware equipment.
- Plan and execute rollouts for replacement hardware and software to stores
- Excellent organisational skills
- Previous IT experience in a retail setting.
- Have great problem solving skills
- Flexibility for out of hours support and weekends where required
- The ability to work on your own initiative, managing your own workload
**Due to the nature of this role it is essential that applicants have a full UK driver’s license.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
