**Contract Management Intelligence Assurance Officer - Inside IR35**

**Contract Term: 2months**

**Contracting Authority: Ministry of Justice (MoJ)**

**Location: Hybrid - 2 days in Leeds office**

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

CMIT provides strategic support to colleagues managing contracted-out services, and assurance against contract management control frameworks for the organisation.

By successfully carrying out this role, the job holder will contribute to reducing the risk of contract management failures and associated financial and reputational impacts on MoJ.

**As a Contract Management Intelligence Assurance Officer your main responsibilities will be**:

- Supporting the CMIT to achieve the outputs defined in the CMIT Annual Delivery Plan.
- Responsible for supporting CMIT by undertaking the collation of data across multiple audit and assurance sources.
- Responsible for the analysis of a combination of both quantitative and qualitative data from a range of data sources drawing out key informed conclusions to support the annual Senior Business Owner Assurance process.
- Responsible for drafting, amending, and agreeing key documentation to support allocated assignments.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Evidence of strong data analysis skills and presenting data in a clear and user-friendly way.
- Experience of working within an audit role.
- Evidence of good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Criteria:

- Experience in data analysis.
- Understanding controls within contract management.
