Warehouse Pick Desk Clerk - £11.50 per hour

Bardon, Coalville

**4 on 4 off shift pattern****:

- 07:00 to 19:00**

To carry out warehouse duties following all relevant company procedures and adhering to company policies.

**Key Tasks / Responsibilities**:
**Principle Accountabilities & Objectives**

Ensure correct dress code (PPE) is worn at all times.

Follow clean as you go policy, so housekeeping is kept to the required standards.

Report any Health and Safety issues to supervisor/manager.

Allocation and distribution of pick tasks to ensure an efficient pick and load sequence.

Recording of final pallet figures to ensure accurate loading.

Problem solving and assist management/supervisor in providing resolutions.

Order picking using the correct procedures.

Ensure correct dress code (PPE) is worn at all times.

To be able to work overtime as and when required to meet business needs.

To deliver a service level in excess of 99.6%.

Temperature checks to be completed daily along with supervisors.

MHE signed out daily and checked along with supervisors

RF Guns signed in and out Daily

Handover Sent Daily to Managers and GM

Sign Pickers in and out on breaks

**Resource Management**

Along with manager/supervisor monitor and control the use of resource in a cost-effective manner.

Actively seek training in the respective areas to enhance the flexibility of the company

**People/Personal Management**

Build working relationships with peers and work colleagues both within the department and throughout the company.

Operate to high moral, personal and appearance standards.

Maintain personal discipline, time keeping and morale.

**Skills/Knowledge and Qualifications**

The ability to communicate with people within your area and other areas of the business.

Computer literate, competent on Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

- Current warehouse picking experience - preferably on scanner
- Proteus Knowledge
- Numerate and literate
- Eligibility and accuracy of recording data
- Customer Service focused
- Organisation and communication skills

**Behaviour / Attitude**
- Self motivated
- Good team player
- Flexibility of hours/shifts essential
- Positive can do attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
