Are you studying AAT, ICB or another accountancy course? Are you looking to put what you've learned into practice? Are you confident, motivated and driven with a can-do attitude?

Then our trainee bookkeeper position could be for you.

You will be assisting with keeping client accounts up to date and supporting senior bookkeepers with various client tasks. You will be business minded, analytical, have an eye for detail, process driven, enjoy variety and like learning and using online apps and new systems. You will write and talk to clients and chase debts, thus excellent communication and language skills are a must.

You will be working from our office just outside Colchester. You can drive or cycle and the nearest bus stop is on Ipswich Road. We have a lovely rest and kitchen area with free tea and coffee, on-site gym and free parking. Part-time or full-time hours can be agreed.
- **This role requires**:_
- Excellent English communication skills - oral and written
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to prioritise and schedule own work
- ICB/AAT qualified or near completing first level of qualification
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- An eye for detail and lots of common sense
- An ability to work to deadlines
- Good computer skills (especially with Excel, MSF Office, Google Docs, and online apps)
